The following two products are designed to accomplish various network sniffing and administration tasks when you need to "listen" to the wire. The FramePad gives you overview of traffic transmitted by local nodes in segment and the PacketX enables you to capture packets from scripts or custom applications build with Visual Basic, Delphi or C++ programming language.

FramePad

FramePad is a Windows base packet sniffer and protocol analyzer, designed from the ground up with ease and functionality in mind. It allows you to examine data from a live network or from a capture file on disk. You can interactively browse the capture data, viewing summary and detail information for each packet.

PacketX

PacketX is an ActiveX component that integrates WinPcap packet capture functionality with programming environments supporting Microsoft ActiveX technology. The library includes ActiveX control that can be used from Visual Basic or Delphi and COM class for scripting languages like VBScript or Javascript.
